Locking in a curl.
Having trouble getting your hair to hold in a curl and
drive yourself crazy trying to get it to stay in? Well I have a simple solution
to your problem.
You probably have a special event to attend and want
to look fabulous but have no time to get in to go see your salon professional
who manages to get it right and you think” how can I get it to even look close
to the way he/she does it for me?”
Here are the simple steps…
First, on clean dry hair you should grab a slice of
hair, of the thickness that you wish to have the curl to be.
Second, after combing out the section of the hair,
begin by applying the curling iron from the root of the hair and gliding down
smoothly and quickly down to the end of your hair.
Third, begin rolling the hair in the direction back
up to the root of the hair creating a curl form.
Fourth, gently but quickly slide out the curling iron
holding the shape of the curl (cylinder form) and with a ducktail clip in the
hair (as shown above) and let it set until the hair is cool to the touch.
Once you are finished with the whole head following
steps one through four, use your favorite medium hold styling spray and from
approximately six inches away from the hair, spray around the whole head.
Lastly, gently pull out the clips and shake your curls
out and run your fingers through to your desired look.
Now this is the proper and correct way to lock in a
perfect curl that should last you throughout the day without any worries of it
falling right out.
Now go and try it and prove me wrong.
